Charades

Today our campers and elders enjoyed a game of charades.

To our residents, families and community

Thank you for being a member of our Signature family. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you. At Signature, we believe in doing the right thing, and to us, this means being transparent and openly communicating about matters affecting the organization.

This letter is to make you aware that Signature HealthCARE has entered into a settlement agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General to resolve a matter involving therapy services at some of our skilled nursing facilities.

It is important for you to know that this settlement will not impact the quality of care or innovative initiatives provided to our residents. Resident care remains our first priority, and we are dedicated to continuing our mission and vision to revolutionize the Healthcare industry with exemplary resident-centered care and innovative quality of life initiatives.

Exciting Changes at Signature HealthCARE of Hart County!

We are happy to say that Signature HealthCARE of Hart County is building up and gearing up for a long anticipated open house! With so many new changes, we are revitalizing our already beautiful building all for the enjoyment of our elders. You may remember our new courtyard, complete with a water feature, as part of our summer oasis renovation. Now we have moved indoors with the weather cooling off.

First, our main dining room has been transformed into our Hall of Fame Café®! On October 13, 2016, we celebrated our first ever Hall of Fame night with our first five Hall of Fame inductees. We inducted three elders, one stakeholder, and one community leader. Our three elders are: Elizabeth Borders, Carolyn Holder, and Charles Moss. Our stakeholder is Angela Croghan, and our community leader is Brother Phillip Trent. We, at Signature HealthCARE of Hart County, would like to thank and recognize these five individuals for all of their hard work, commitment, and service.

Secondly, we have added a brand new therapy gym! We are expanding upon our rehab services provided by our brilliant therapy staff. Nestled between our two private rehab-to-home halls, the new therapy gym is perfect for any of your therapy needs. Additionally, we are creating a space solely for occupational therapy. Occupational therapy assists our residents with their activities of daily living, such as getting dressed and doing chores around the house. Therefore, this room will act as an apartment complete with a washer/dryer, a sink/kitchen space which includes a dishwasher, stove, ad oven, so that our therapy team can better assist our elders with their needs.

Additionally, we have added 60 square feet to our beauty/barber shop in order to better suit the needs of our elders, by providing them more comfort and space. This renovation allows for more accessibility for wheel chairs and it looks like an actual beauty/barber shop store front. The last of our new renovations is for our stakeholders or employees. We have added a space for training and educating our stakeholders in order to better ourselves and the care we provide!

Last, but certainly not least–we know that Halloween is coming up and we at Signature HealthCARE of Hart County will be hosting a Trick-or-Treat at the building! So please stop by and see what’s new and don’t forget your candy bag on, Monday, October 31st from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, or until we run out of candy!
